Congressman Moran Statement on President Trump’s Meeting with House Republicans

House Republicans Met with President Trump, Vice President Vance

Doral, FL – Congressman Nathaniel Moran (R-TX-01) released the following statement after House Republicans met with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance to discuss specifics on how best to deliver on the America First mandate from the American people:

This week in Doral, Florida, I was able to join my Republican colleagues for a productive two-day conference that focused on planning specific avenues to reduce spending, reduce the national debt, and spur economic growth by decreasing regulation and extending the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act through the budget reconciliation process. During our time in Florida, we also heard from President Trump and Vice President Vance, both of whom voiced a commitment to work with Congress on these issues for the betterment of the American people. We had meaningful discussions with the Executive Branch on our shared goals and the paths available to us to deliver real, tangible results for the American people. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration and my Congressional colleagues in the months ahead to keep delivering on the mandate given to us by the American people, and to restore economic liberty, prosperity, and opportunity to all hard-working American families and businesses.”
