 Congressman Nathaniel Moran (TX-01) released the following statement today, following the release of President Biden’s budget for Fiscal Year 2024:

“This week, President Biden released his much overdue and underthought budget proposal to Congress for Fiscal Year 2024. It will not balance our budget, and it does not make a serious attempt to address out-of-control government spending, which is the hallmark of the Biden Administration. Although the President claims that his proposed budget will cut $2 trillion from the national deficit over 10 years, he fails to acknowledge the additional $10 trillion in interest that taxpayers now owe because of reckless spending by Democrats over the past two years to fund their radical leftist agenda. We need to get our financial house in order. And, I will continue working diligently to cut wasteful government spending, shrink the size of the federal government, and shape a national future rooted in financial freedom.”
