Moran: Hunter Biden Has Been Trading Off His Father’s Name For All of His Life

Tyler, Texas – Congressman Nathaniel Moran (R-TX-01), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, joined Carl Higbie on Newsmax to discuss the latest developments in the Hunter Biden trial, the misplaced priorities of the Biden-Harris Administration, and the need to continue the House’s investigation of the failures that led to the near-assassination of President Trump.

On New Court Documents in the Hunter Biden Trial:

“It’s not a surprise that what has come out in the last couple of days actually happened. We all know that Hunter was selling influence. That’s what he’s been doing for all of his life – trading off of his father’s name. And now we know that there was a Romanian oligarch that was willing to pay him and a couple of his associates three million dollars. There’s a lot of people in this world that would like to split three million dollars.

“Hunter was in a position to trade on his dad’s name to do just that, to try to influence the investigation against [Gabriel Popoviciu] in Romania, from the United States. He’s getting paid to influence an investigation against [Popoviciu] in Romania, and here he is trading off his dad’s name. It’s despicable. But what it’s going to show in September is his intent through these years, and this tax fraud case, it’s trouble for him.”

On the Misplaced Priorities of the Biden-Harris Administration:

“It’s shameful. [President Biden’s] priorities are completely out of whack. They have been since day one. He hasn’t secured our border, he’s given away our national sovereignty and security, he’s weakened us on the world stage, he’s let our economy go completely under, and in the process, we’ve seen inflation, really this hidden tax, hit Americans day in and day out. And now, this disgraceful continuation in the last six months of him just winding down, looking for photo ops instead of doing the American people justice and doing his job.”

On the Secret Service’s Failure to Keep Trump Safe:

“We certainly need to continue pushing our investigation through [the House’s] task force of our Secret Service and what they did on the day of July 13th, when they, frankly, let a lot of things go. And we need to get to the bottom of that. I’m hopeful that this task force can move expeditiously and get to those answers. We know from eyewitness accounts the failures one after the other on that day that almost led to the assassination of President Trump. We don’t need to see it with JD Vance or Kamala Harris or anybody else involved in this process. We need good security for those that are involved in this democratic process through this election period because our Republic depends on it.”
