Congressman Moran Travels to Indo-Pacific, Visits Seventh Fleet

Congressman Nathaniel Moran (TX-01) released the following statement after touring the United States Navy’s Seventh Fleet in Japan alongside Chairman Michael McCaul (TX-10) and members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee:

“As a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, I am committed to a foreign diplomacy that is strong, steady, and strategic. Alongside Chairman McCaul and other members of the Committee, I met with members of the Seventh Fleet at its command headquarters in Japan to understand more about their mission and how we in Congress can support them. With over 27,000 sailors and marines actively deployed throughout the region, it is currently the largest forward-deployed fleet in the United States Navy, and it is critical regional stability in the Indo-Pacific region. It is clear that our servicemen and women are working diligently to promote American interests in the Indo-Pacific region while ensuring that our military remains strong and respected around the world.”
